Make sure your flowers are kept out of direct sunlight (do not leave them in your car), have fresh water, and remove all spent blooms as they fade. We recommend that you change the water daily, or every other day at the bare minimum. Trim off about an inch of the stems whenever you change the water so the stems can properly hydrate. While we remove most of the foliage from the stem before your bouquets reach you, remove any leaves that fall below the water line of your vase.
Yes. We will deliver within a 15 mile radius of our farm for a small fee. Otherwise you can pick up your arrangements at our farm.
Sometimes. We are a small family farm so we can only accept preordered arrangements on a limited basis. If you have an event that you would like flowers for, do not hesitate to reach out, but please understand that we harvest fresh from the field per order and need time to properly condition and arrange your flowers for you. This will give you the freshest blooms available, but it also means that all orders must be placed a minimum of 48 hours before they are needed, and only when ordering is open,* unless discussed much further in advance.
*Ordering windows will be posted as they become available.
We are happy to offer flowers for the special kind of bride who wants to DIY her own wedding, but we are not a wedding florist and honestly do not intend to be. We know our limits. That being said, if you are having a casual, micro wedding and your thing is local flowers and not huge elaborate arrangements full of flowers that aren't even in season, we can definitely work something out!
Nope. Our farm is our home and while we will open our barn from time to time for special events and bouquet bars, we are not open without an invitation.
Did you know that 80% of the cut flowers sold in the U.S. are imported from other countries? This means those flowers have traveled thousands of miles before they reach your table, often cut weeks before and treated with nasty chemicals and pesticides. Not only are they not going to last very long in the vase, but they are horrible for the environment and cause a domino effect of destruction. Supporting the local flower movement is not only better, but it is also very important. If you would like to learn more, please refer to our Local Flowers page at the top of this website where I share many resources with you.
